Common questions

What to expect when asking for help or making a donation.

Do I need to go through another organisation first?

You can start by emailing Crofton Food Bank directly or texting Cashwise. The team will explain what is needed and what support is currently available.

Will I have to explain my whole situation?

No. You do not need to explain everything in detail. The team only needs enough information to understand what help you need and how best to contact you.

Can the Food Bank cater for allergies or dietary needs?

Please include any allergies or dietary requirements in your message. The team will take them into account where possible, although the exact contents of a parcel depend on available stock.

Can I take food donations to the church?

Please use the Food Bank collection bin at Crofton Post Office, or email the team first if you have a large donation. Contact the team before taking donations to any other location.
